Sunday services

The service
We meet at St Mary's church every Sunday at 10am. Services are livestreamed on our YouTube channel. When you arrive, the welcome team can help you find a seat. Services are around one hour long with:

  • a Bible reading and prayers
  • a sermon message (read about the latest sermon series)
  • traditional and modern music from the band and the church organ
  • tea, coffee and biscuits after the service – no charge, just enjoy!

There is a service of the Lord's Supper (Communion) to share bread and wine on the first Sunday of the month, and an All-age service on the second, where everyone can worship together.

Children and young people
During the service, there are children's groups for ages 2 to 13 most weeks (apart from at All-age services, when everyone stays together). There is also a crêche space for very young children. About ten minutes into the service, children can go out to an age-relevant group for Bible stories, prayer, craft and games. They return to the main session just before the end of the service. All groups take place within the church building.

Accessibility
St Mary's is wheelchair accessible. There is a sound loop for hearing aid users. There is an accessible unisex toilet with baby change facility. We are very happy to support and make reasonable adjustments for additional needs, and break out spaces are also available. Please speak to one of the welcome team on your arrival.

Parking
Please note, St Mary's does not have its own car park, but space to park is available in the area nearby. Please be kind to our neighbours when parking in residential streets. There is space outside the church porch for bicycles.

Please contact us if you have any questions about Sunday services at St Mary's. We will be happy to help.
